With over 25 years of experience at Toyota in Washington, I witnessed firsthand how the company's approach evolved—from being Tokyo's outpost to one of the most influential offices in the nation's capital. We actively engaged with U.S. policymakers, regulatory agencies, and trade associations to share policies. I was fortunate to be one of Toyota's in-house lobbyists to experience the amazing transformation. I understand both the workings of Washington and the cultural challenges that Japanese companies face. Navigating the complexities of U.S. politics requires in-depth local expertise. My goal now is to help these Japanese businesses succeed in the U.S. by guiding them through the complexities of Washington and building strategies tailored to their unique needs.
